The Truth About Looking Like a Superhero

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to look like a superhero.

But for years, I did nothing but spin my wheels. I fell into the same traps most guys do: chasing the wrong diets, overcomplicating my training and operating with the wrong mindset.

Eventually, I cracked the code and built the physique I always wanted but what I discovered on the other side shocked me: achieving an aesthetic body is a lot less complicated than the fitness industry makes it out to be.

You don't need to live in the gym or starve yourself. It all comes down to a simple framework that lets you live a normal life while finally building the physique you’ve been chasing. Here is exactly what you need to do.

The Mainstream Fitness Lie

The mainstream fitness industry wants you to believe that building a great body requires total life deprivation. If you’ve ever looked up how to get in shape, you’ve likely been told that you need to:

  • Train 6 days a week for 2 to 3 hours a day.
  • Eat a 100% "clean" diet consisting of nothing but bland chicken, broccoli, and rice.
  • Sacrifice your social life, your favorite foods, and an unreasonable amount of your free time.

To make matters worse, they overwhelm you with complex workout programs that completely miss the highest leverage muscle groups needed to actually build an aesthetic physique. They hand you a rigid diet structure that is impossible to stick to unless you live like an actual robot.

The truth is simple: You will never build the aesthetic physique you’ve been chasing by following this conventional, bullsh*t advice. The logic doesn't work and the lifestyle isn't sustainable.

The Pure Aesthetic Framework

To build an aesthetic, superhero physique without living like a robot, you only need to master two things: Training and Nutrition. Everything else is just noise.

High-Leverage Training

When it comes to building an aesthetic body, exercise selection and intensity are everything. You do not need to spend 15 hours a week in the gym. Instead, your strategy should focus on:

Targeting the "Upper Shelf": Prioritize exercises that build your upper chest, shoulders and upper back. This is the exact formula that creates the most width on top to maximise your shoulder to waist ratio.

The 3-Day Rule: Train just 2 to 3 days a week.

Absolute Intensity: Because you are training less, you must train harder. For each exercise, perform one warm up set followed by two working sets taken completely to failure.

Freedom-Based Nutrition

Your diet does not need to be a prison sentence. Your body composition outcomes are dictated by energy balance and protein, not by forcing yourself to eat clean 100% of the time. If you want to drop fat and reveal your muscle, the formula is simple:

The Deficit & Protein Target: Maintain a modest 300 to 500 calorie deficit and hit your minimum daily protein target (around 1.2g per kilogram of body weight or 0.55g per pound of body weight). As long as you hit these two numbers and eat enough carbohydrates to fuel your workouts, your physical results will be identical regardless of what foods you choose to eat.

The Daily Protocol: Push your first meal back by fasting for the first 5 hours of your day, using caffeine to naturally blunt your appetite.

The Meal Structure: Break your eating window down into a small first meal, a massive satisfying dinner and one of your favourite treats before bed.

By structuring your day this way, you completely eliminate the need to sacrifice your social life, your favorite foods or an unreasonable amount of your free time.

Your 24-Hour Blueprint

You have the framework. Now, it is time to execute. Do not wait for next Monday, start with these three steps within the next 24 hours:

Step 1: Map Out Your Week. Pick the 2 to 3 days you are going to commit to being in the gym for 30-40 minutes. Assemble a simple training program focused on heavy compound movements for your upper shelf and treat those gym times like non-negotiable appointments.

Step 2: Start the Habit of Fasting. Push your first meal back tomorrow morning to start the 5-hour fasting window. Keep in mind that it takes about 2 to 3 weeks for your body to fully adjust to intermittent fasting, so rely on caffeine and carbonated drinks to blunt your appetite in the morning.

Step 3: Pinpoint Your Go-To Meals. Identify 2 or 3 staple meals that you genuinely love eating and can easily prepare on a daily basis. Ensure these meals make it simple to hit your daily protein and calorie targets while still leaving room for a treat before bed.
